Sire Services Provided

Finances
All revenue from sale of genetics or certificates, including creating and sending invoices if customers don't utilize the website, organizing online sales, and releasing certificates from the breed association to the customer. In addition, all expenses are handled from semen collection facility and any additional operations. Payouts to partners at times agreed upon are all handled.
Collection & Inventory
Consistent communication with semen collection facilities to make sure semen collections are properly handled (# of units, type of semen, handling any issues, etc.). All semen releases are done along with transfers between storage facility and customer upon purchase of semen.
Communication
Customized web portal access to view all financial and inventory information about their partnership in real time. Also, all bulls managed are included on the online store at no additional cost for customers to directly purchase semen and certificates.

6.5% of Revenue

Donor Services Provided

Finances
Consolidation and payment of expenses from embryo collection facilities and any additional operations. This creates a single, standardized monthly invoice provided to client with key metrics highlighted. Dependent on the partnership, revenue collection from embryo sales can be included with subsequent distribution payouts to partners.
Collection & Inventory
Communication with embryo collection facility about what embryos to make. Semen procurement ahead of embryo fertilization (purchasing/transfer/shipping) is also handled so that it's ensured that the semen wanted will always be on hand to make the embryos. All embryo transfers are done between storage facility and partners/customers.
Communication
Customized web portal access to view all financial and inventory information about their partnership in real time.

The Bigelows of Bigelow Livestock Management

Bigelow Livestock Management was founded and is run by Matt Bigelow with the support of his wife Emma and his two children.

Matt grew up raising and showing cattle in Minnesota with his older sister. During college, he continued that passion by working for several large Hereford breeders at major shows like National Western Stock Show and Hereford Junior Nationals. While his kids aren't old enough to show yet, he still enjoys going to shows throughout the year to help and support his friends.

Matt also has the business expertise needed to operate Bigelow Livestock Management, having a Master in Business Administration degree and plenty of experience running bull partnerships. This perfect balance of knowing the industry while making having the technical abilities ensure every partnership is properly managed from a financial and operational perspective.
